School Life

This is some information about the make-up of our student body. These are given in averages, and unless designated are not specific to any particular school year.

On average...

OBI's enrollment is between 300 and 335 students, with 60% of our students are from the state of Kentucky, 25% from other states, and 15% for other nations. About 60% of our student body is Caucasian, and 40% are of color.

We normally have 100 middle school students and 225 high school students. Our average class size is 11 students.

The ratio of male/female students is about 60% male, 40% female.

The average number of students in a graduating class is 52. In the 2007 class, about 46% of the graduates earned advanced degrees. 60% of OBI graduates continue their education after graduating from our school.
